Casual game developers can look forward to earning some more bucks from Microsoft as the Big M has decided to share in-game advertising profits with the developers. This two-tier revenue program is rolled out for developers of MSN Games.
“Now, by sharing in-game advertising revenue, we’re allowing a more diversified business model that gives our partners more resources to create new, innovative titles for the 13 million people we see every month on MSN Games.”
Better money means better games.

XNA Game Studio Express Beta Free Download

Aspiring game developers can now head to Microsoft XNA official site and download the XNA Game Studio Express beta. Using this development tool, you can develop PC games in your home, school or workplace.
If you want to create games for both the PC and Xbox 360, you have to join the Creators Club.
The Creators Club carries an annual fee of $99, although Microsoft is also offering four-month trials for $49. The Creators Club will go live when the final version of the XNA Game Studio Express arrives this holiday season.
