It looks like someone was able to track down their lead developer, Jan Klose, and asked him some very… personal… questions. Well, the questions aren’t so much personal as they are more about questions of how the game was developed… and seeing as we are a gaming development type website, I thought game development questions would go well here. Very well. And if you don’t like it… well, I’m crying on the inside. I really really am. It’s mind blowing!

The introduction of the interview is in Dutch, which makes me weep openly. But I trudged on until I hit the English portion of the interview. It was good. Life… is good.

Now, if you go to the next page, the entire interview is in Dutch. Why isn’t the intro in English? I think that is unfair to us people who can only speak English. Maybe I just need to pick up Dutch. Hmmm, let me think about it. Brain… collapsing. Nope, not picking up Dutch.

Post from: Play Designs

Kick Butt Developer Chat

Development

Interviews

I was checking out Just Adventure’s Website and found this kick butt chat. Just Adventure chatted with a whole slew of Indie Developers and I thought I was really cool to see what each developer had to say about the questions Just Adventure presented. I’d really love to see more great interview like this for the game developer. All of their questions were answered very differently. The best part was reading about what the developer’s favorite part of creating a game was. I’m just amazed at what a great interview this was. Adventure Gamer was able to interview a developer by the name Steve Ince. He has worked with such games as Broken Sword and Beneath a Steal Sky when he worked for Revolution Software. He’s broken off from Revolution Software and started his own company, Juniper Games. He also writes his own comic, maintains his own web blog and apparently he can fly. Just kidding. He can’t fly. Well, he might be able to, but he certainly doesn’t talk about it in this interview. They are now developing their very own adventure game and Steve sits with Adventure Developers to talk about it here.

Post from: Play Designs
