Game Design in C#

I’ve been checking out different game design courses you can take online and happened to come across one of Microsoft’s web casts on game design in C#. It’s an 11 part webcast that takes you from the very beginning of game design, from planning out your game to actually coding it.
You can take a look at each of the webcasts by clicking… right… about… here.
It IS a Microsoft webcast, so you have to jump through all the crapping hoops of having to register and then click here and then click there and blah blah blah. But in the end, it’s worth it.
Now, I know that C# isn’t the best language to program things in. It’s not as fast as C or C++, but if you’re a beginning programmer, C# tends to be a lot easier to learn than C or C++. I know this, because when I was in school, damned if I could figure out what the hell was going on with C++… but now that I’m a professional programmer (*coughs*), I learned C# within a matter of weeks. So, I tend to think C# is easier.
Then again, I was in school when I was learning C++ and who the hell listens while in class? I know I never did. HAH.
I think this webcast is pretty dang cool, especially if you’re just starting out, so take a look at it. You might learn a thing or two!
