New Point and Click… thingy.

That’s right… there’s a new Point and Click game creator… well, it’s not really new, it’s actually part 2 of Point and Click (that’s the name of it, I’m telling you). It looks like it is pretty easy to use and has some pretty darn cool features. I downloaded a demo game that they had, but it was all in German and while I am pretty good with the English, I ain’t so good with the German. Maybe I just didn’t look long enough to find an English version, but I’m sure SOMEONE out there speaks German, so I thought I’d pass it along.
At least their website is in English. What more could you ever want?
Here are some of the cool features that Point and Click’s (or PaC… how witty is THAT?) has:
Fullscreen Special FX
This new feature can enable 1 out of 20 effects on the whole screen. For example Noise, Fog, Motionblur or let the screen look like it was underwater or it was really hot. You can also enabled a slowmotion that even effects the sound and the music.Functiondemo
If you wanna see these effects in action you can download the new functiondemo. This is a small adventure that shows all new and old abilities of the PaC-DK Tool.Thats it?
No way! Thats also new :
- The Fontwindow has now more options to customize your fonts.
- There are 3 new transitions (screenchanges): Clock, Blend und Blendslow.
- Gamemenu, Textscenes and subrooms can now be faded in instead of appearing instantly..
- The Loading Graphic is now used when the game starts, so the player knows that it loads.
- The Mousewheel can now be used in a game, for example to change the mouseicons or what ever.
What’s even cooler is that they have some pretty easy to follow tutorials for you to start out with, so go ahead and give it a shot. Maybe… just maybe you can take that tap dancing squirrel game idea I had and turn it into your own game. And if you do, let me know. I love tap dancing squirrels.
